HOW CAN I BE OF SERVICE ?
The areas of service for many churches are internal and external communities. River of Life Church of Indianapolis, Inc. strive to 'Serve our Neighbor' by becoming purposeful in discipleship among our internal community and becoming more intentional of our placement on the Far Eastside of Indianapolis. By fulfilling one simple external community principle 'know and serve your neighbor(s)'.
We plan to accomplish this by:

AREAS TO SERVE AT ROLC
HOSPITALITY
The hospitality coordinator will oversee the hospitality ministry to ensure that every person entering the church is greeted and that visitors are offered assistance as appropriate so that everyone feels important and welcome and is able to find his or her desired destination easily.
MEDIA TEAM
Media ministers work behind the scenes to make it possible to share the message of a church with large groups of people through amplified sound, recordings, PowerPoint presentations, Web pages and other forms of communication.
PRAISE TEAM
A church praise and worship teams lead the congregation in song during weekly services and other gatherings. The team may include a full choir and a full band or just a handful of singers and musicians. ... Worship teams may also organize other artistic means of worshiping such as dance, drama and visual art.
FINANCE TEAM
Issues receipts for large donations. Keeps detailed records of all financial transactions. Deposits the funds into the church's bank account and maintains receipts for records. Pays employees from the church's accounts.
PEER GROUP LEADER
Peer Group Leaders organize regular social, educational, and spiritual oriented events with their peer group to maintain a vibrant program. They establish support and appropriate relationships with the members and their families. Peer group leaders also maintain social media and emails to provide information publicly to the members about their organized events.

OUTREACH TEAM
Maintain a calendar of outreach activities, including community events, workshops, appearances, and other communication opportunities. Prepare an annual budget for community outreach activities. Nurture new and old relationships with collaborative partners.
